Knights of Columbus

The St. John the Evangelist Knights of Columbus Council #2296 members are dedicated to the advancement of our Catholic family life and assisting Fr. John in the countless number of Church functions and activities at St. John the Evangelist Parish. The local council raises monies through activities and donations to help our diocesan seminarians, Birthline of El Dorado, Bethlehem House, annual Boys State program, individuals with intellectual disability and Kansas Olympic Program, and Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). In addition, our members donate countless hours of their time and talents to parish organizations and apostolates. The Knights of Columbus is the largest organization of Catholic laymen in the world.

The Knights of Columbus meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the School. Additionally, the Knights host a monthly breakfast for the parishioners on the fourth Sunday of each month after the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses.
